Haley Berlak is a Freelance Illustrator based in the heart of Central California. She attended California State University, Fresno graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design with an Illustration emphasis with high honors in Spring 2016.

She specializes in Children's Books, Character Design, and Calligraphy. Her most notable illustrations include the children’s book Sanchi & Monchie and the Magic Whiskers for Kiamusic as well as covers to the middle-grade children’s book Critter Sitter Chronicles and its sequel Critter Sitter Chronicles 2: 4th of July Parade for Norella Press, LLC.

Haley has had a creative spirit since childhood, those who knew her said she could always be found with a pencil and paper drawing characters like Kim Possible and the Powerpuff Girls.  She also developed a love and fascination of hand-drawn animated films such as Sleeping Beauty, Treasure Planet, The Black Cauldron and The Little Mermaid.

Although mostly self-taught, she took a number of Art and Design courses from Figure Drawing, Photography, Animation and Multimedia since high school.

Her hope is to inspire young minds to stay creative and to pursue their creative passions. The world can always use more art!
